Our Lady of the Rosary Feast Day

To celebrate and teach the littles how to pray the Rosary, I made a poster board of a rosary.

I was lucky enough to have a circle punch that helped A LOT!

 I used a glue stick to glue the "beads" down.

I already got great ideas to use M&M's, candy, marshmallows to keep count!

I eventually will add the Mysteries of the Rosary to the back of the board. It was a super fun and quick project and only cost me a dollar for the foam board, which I already had on hand! 

Everything else was in my craft room closet!

Wow! I just can't wait for the Colors of Fall to come upon us! 

I guess it's more of the cold weather that I'm wanting! 

When I came across this sensory tub for Fall, I knew it needed to be the first thing I did for the kids! 

I simply added dried red lentils, dried black beans, a pumpkin scrapper and
some spiders from the Dollar Tree!

Viola! Instant Fun!

How we met...PART 1

On Tuesday the 14th, Cookie Man and I celebrated 6 years since we "met"! It is quite a love story...well at least to me...
Every year for my birthday, my sister would buy me a membership to an online dating site. Weird huh? I never really was in to the whole internet dating thing...eharmony, match.com. She actually skipped a couple of years and actually brought me a present, who'd a thought?!?

So after another year of complaining that I was going to be single forever...another membership was bought but this time to CatholicMatch.com. My faith is and always has been VERY important to me and I figured with religion out of the way, everything else would just fall into place. 

Met a guy from Arkansas...long story short...no sparks! 

So another night of scoping out the goods lead me to another website 

CatholicSingles.com 

 So I signed up to CatholicSingles.com!

I looked at about 40 to 50 profiles (THAT NIGHT, yes, that night!) and send out 30...yup 30 Hello's... desperation...NO, I just knew the numbers were against me and I really had to jump in. Also at this point, I'm 33 and thinking "times a wastin!" LOL!

I got 3 responses back! One was a very polite, "Thanks but no thanks." The second was not interested in a LDR- that's "Long Distance Relationship" to you novice internet dating people.

Family Photo Board Mod Podge

Well I finally finished the photo board I made for Cookie Man for Father's Day. 

Yeah...I know, it only took me 3 more months to finish!

First Day of Preschool

UNO's first day of preschool was September 7

I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up and he said:

"I want to be a bigger kid"

I think it will be really cute as he gets older, the sign will get smaller!
