UNO's First Day of Preschool

Today was UNO's first day of Preschool!

He was so excited to go!

DOS' First Day of Preschool

DOS had her first day of preschool today.

After two wardrobe changes, she was ready to go... 

at 7:00am!!!

Her school starts at 8:30!

I pulled out my chalkboard from last year for First Day of school pictures!

I added the date this time!

(very important when you do not blog daily !)

I wrote down the first thing she said when I said, 

"When I grow up I want to be..."

She proudly said, 

"Mary Poppins"

Happy Mother's Day

...to me!

I woke up this morning to a delicious breakfast of Eggs and Pancakes.
I'm not really sure the kids understand Mother's Day.

DOS handed me my presents and said:
"Happy Mother's Day Mommy, these are from Santa Claus!"

I am blessed beyond measure to be doing what I absolutely love to do!!

Mary, Our Mother. 
Pray for us.

A Good Friday Conversation

Me: 

Today is the day Jesus died for us

UNO: 

I want to be Jesus.

DOS: 

I want to be Mary and TRES can be Baby Jesus.

UNO: 

No DOS, TRES has to be Simon.

Later...

UNO: But I don't want to be nailed to the cross!!

Muffin Tin Monday- Halloween

I saved my MTM meal for the littles for today to get into the spooky spirit!

We put our food in our "Spiders and Webs" Wilton pans 

I bought last year at goodwill for $3.99!!

For both...yeah me!!

 Pumpkin fingers (carrots)

The Q-tips were a huge hit!!

DOS: "mommy, I don't like these"

UNO: "Mommy, can I eat DOS' earwax?"

First Day of Preschool

UNO's first day of preschool was September 7

 ... here are some pictures the paparazzi took at the house!

I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up and he said:

"I want to be a bigger kid"

My favorite!!

I asked him to pick up the chalkboard. 

I think it will be really cute as he gets older, the sign will get smaller!

Dear Lord, please remind me to activate the nanny cam I installed in his Backpack, his GPS shoes so I know exactly where he is in the room, the wire under his shirt so I can hear all his conversations... I leave the Guardian Angels up to you...I am requesting 4. Amen!

Remembering how to pray

Tonight, UNO reminded me how to pray.

Me: Dear Jesus, Please bless us tonight.

UNO: Please don't let the monsters eat me.

I love you , AMEN.

My three year old , knew his fear and asked God for help.

Its not easy for me to do sometimes. 

But from now on, I'll remember to pray for exactly what is coming from my heart.

It is so much easier to 

Let Go and Let God.

And with that prayer, his restless body slowly drifted off to sleep.

His fears released.

"Mommy, we need to wake up the moon so it can shine!" -UNO

"It's a beautiful morning today!"

WEDNESDAY 1/27/10- Matthew woke up proclaiming, "It's a beautiful morning today!"And indeed it did turn out to be a great day! Of course we pretty much "vegged" all day and there are no pictures to prove it!
